Western New York Outdoors
A Parks and Recreation Guide to locations for outdoor adventures in WNY.

Sculpture Park
Art gallery at Ashford Hollow in the Town of Ashford, Cattaraugus County.

Western New York Outdoors home

Description:

A unique place to hike and view hundreds of abstract sculptures scattered among the meadows, forest and hills from the Griffis family and other artists.  Take Route 219 south, past Springville, to Ashford Hollow and turn right on Ahrens Road.  Going up the hill you have two choices as the park is split in half, left or right.

The left fork is Rohr Hill Road where you will see a small pond and parking area.  Continue on to Mill Valley Road, East Otto, and go right which will take you to the main entrance.  The right fork is Prill Road.  The art is impressive and the wilderness is a sanctuary for many birds and animals.  Artists included beside founder Larry Griffis are Bolinski, Dwain, Gurst, Hatchett and Paterson.
