Pine Hill
State Forest in the Town of Randolph,
Cattaraugus County.
Description:
Located about 5 miles south of the village of Randolph along Pine Hill Road,
which joins Pierce Run Road. The Southern Tier Expressway (Interstate 86
and New York 17) crosses the town. The reforestation area is about a mile
east of the hamlet of Vollentine. There are hiking trails and wilderness
camping in this hilly woodland area.
The Allegheny Reservoir is about 3
miles south of here.
