Hartson Swamp - Clay Pond
State Wildlife Management Area and
State Wetlands in the Town of Poland, Chautauqua County.

Description:
Hartson Swamp State Wildlife Management Area is located along Route 394.
Clay Pond State Wetlands is located along Clay Pond Road. From the Route
17 Expressway, take Exit 13 at Falconer. These wetlands offer many nature
viewing opportunites, hunting and fishing. NYS DEC stocked with Brook
trout.
The Conewango Creek paddle trail,
part of the Marden Cobb Waterway, passes
thru the swamp. Dry Brook is also on the northeastern section.
