Darien Lakes
State Park in the Town of Darien,
Genesee County.

Description:
Do not confuse this location with the nearby Darien Lake Theme Park
attractions. To get here from Buffalo, take Route 20 east to Darien Center
and turn left on Harlow Road. Swimming, camping and picnicing are popular
at this multiple use recreational and wilderness area. The trails are open
all year for biking, hiking, horseback or in the winter for snowmobiling and
skiing.
A section of the Conservation Trail passes thru these hilly
woodlands, it is part of the Finger Lakes Trail. You can also go fishing
in Harlow Lake and go hunting with a permit. Elevenmile Creek passes thru
the state park.
