Description:

Cuba Lake was man made in 1858 as a reservoir to feed the Genesee Valley Canal.  Located on Route 305 northwest of the village of Cuba.

Sailing is accessable via a boat launch at the Cuba Reservation State Park, on Route 305.  Cuba Lake has excellent fishing for perch, bass, carp, walleye and pike.  There is a public boat launch site off West Shore Road near the Rawson Creek inlet and on South Shore Road near the outlet.

The Oil Springs Indian Reservation is at the southern tip of the lake.
