Cattaraugus Creek
Southern border of Erie County and Northern Cattaraugus County.

Description:

Thirty four miles of some of the best steelhead fishing in the world, from the mouth at Lake Erie to the Scoby Dam Park at the end of Scoby Hill Road in Springville.  This stream and several tributaries offer many public fishing areas, with the best opportunites starting in October.

Some shore fishing sites with parking areas include:
-Route 16
-Scoby Hill Road off Rt. 219.
-Hammond Hill Road off Zoar Valley Road.
-North Otto Road off Zoar Valley Road.
-Valentine Flats Road in the Zoar MUA.
-Forty Road in the Zoar MUA.
-Town of Hanover launch ramp near Lake Erie.

Wyoming County public access:
-Hurdville Road, north off Rt.39 by Tractor Supply Co.
-Rt. 98 North off Rt.39, parking area behind stores at Church Street in downtown Arcade.
-East Arcade Road (CR 11) north to parking area at Tyler Road.
-South off East Arcade Road, CR 11 to Allen Road, then east on Sullivan Road.
