Beaver Island
State Park in the Town of Grand Island, Erie County.

Description:

Located on the southern tip of Grand Island and north of the City of Buffalo.  Cross over the South Grand Island Bridge and take the first Exit off the I-190.  The park is open all seasons offering scenic views year round.

From the Chippawa Channel (West branch) and Tonawanda Channel (East branch) of the Niagara River you can see Motor Island and Strawberry Island.  You can enjoy a pleasant picnic or numerous activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, a sandy beach for swimming, a marina for boating, golfing, skiing and more.  The habitats are excellent for viewing birds from shore or along nature trails such as swans, pelicans and herons.  You can also visit the historic former home of President Grover Cleveland here.
